Misty morning

A photographic tribute to Airuno, where morning mist and sunlight shift over the Adda River.

Airuno is a photographic tribute to a place I began photographing in 2016: a small town on the Adda, a few kilometres from Lake Como. From the hill above the river, I watch morning mist rise among the trees. On still days, the fog drifts and thins as sunlight reaches the landscape. The scene can change in the few moments it takes to make a handful of photographs; these brief passages of mist and light are the heart of the project.

More of my work is available on my VAST artist page.
